   3. Time management skills

"How to manage your time in the most productive way.

So what I want to talk about in
this article today are ten ways that you can rescue an unproductive day."

● Schedule everything!

If it's not on your calendar don't do it. So that means time blocking. Put everything onyour
calendar.
Put everything from waking up and drinking coffee and taking a shower andwalking your dog to client calls to design time to marketing time to business development.

Block out every moment of your day and treat every time block as a deadline that you have to meet.

● Priorities your work

Priorities your work wisely like I have a tendency to do low priority things first because they're small and I think I can get a bunch of them out of the way.

But what ends up happening is that I de-prioritize that most important thing and it ends up happening at the end of the day when I'm really tired or not at all.

So, prioritize that one thing which is most important in your schedule.

● Make plans

Make plans at the end of the day to go do something. Because then you have to make sure that you're going to be ready and you're going to be done with what you're doing so you can go do that thing that you planned.

It sounds really simple and it is. Just make a plan to do something and it forces you to stay more focused.

● To-Do list

If you're doing a lot of work it's much needed to make a To-Do list to keep priorities in your work by the importance of completing your task .

To -Do list makes your time management easy because you can go simply on your To-Do list and check what is the most important schedule of today's work which needs to be fulfilled first and the rest of other works also can be monitored easily by To-Do list .

● Multi-tasking

People think that they're great multi-taskers but it's been scientifically proven that we're really not built for that mentally.

So trying to focus on one thing is going to make you much more productive and you have to get rid of distractions.

 4. Productivity

● What is productivity ?

"productivity is about getting the right things done, not just about getting more things
done."

You don't need an education or experience to be busy and therefore have a lot of things on your plate or get a lot of things done.

But to be a productive individual, you need to be able to get the right things done.

You need to be able to focus and achieve your most important work.

So remember the true definition, the best definition of productivity to ensure that youget the most out of yours and your organization's day. It's very simple.

● How to learn productivity skills ?

Here I'm giving you tips to be productive and learn how to reach more in your day to day
work commitments .

1. Make your Goals

goals is the thing that triggers a productive mood and makes you feel the urge to do
something to reach those goals.

Visually represent those by writing them down and keep that list with you at all times so you can remember why you need to study and work so hard for something.

Slowly incorporate those goals in your daily life - that's actually the basis of a productive routine and I like to do so by writing specific tasks in my planner or bullet journal that relates to those goals and step-by-step let me accomplish them in the time span that I determined myself.

2 .Writing Down your accomplish task

Getting used to writing things down and manage when where and how you will  accomplish them can be a strange task at the beginning but as you incorporate that daily routine into your life, it will become a natural thing and something that you will constantly apply during your life besides using a paper planner to manage your tasks and all the things you need to get done.

"here I'm recommending you to read these to books to know more about productivity
briefly and having a clear and brief idea about productivity"

● Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity. …

● The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change. …

● The power of less: The fine Art to limiting yourself to the essential.

5. Communication

communication skills is a two-way process of exchanging ideas information and transmitting messages effectively And efficiently what i mean when i say this is the meaning is that my thoughts should reach
someone else's thoughts in that same particular manner in which i want it to get transmitted.

It's a complete cycle of sending a message and a person receiving that message in the
same line format of what I want to form.

 ● Tips to make communication skills effective

Effective communication is one of the most important life skills that a person can have. Whether you want to have better control in your personal and social life, or get your ideas across better at work, there are some keythings you can do to help improve your communication skills.

  • "Listen Actively People want to know that they are being heard. Instead of just focusing on formulating a response, really listen to what the other person is saying. The person speaking to you should be the most important thing, at that moment."
  • "Pay Attention To Body Language Your non-verbal and non-written cues often reveal more than you think. Remember that you’re constantly communicating, even when you’re not saying a word. So make sure that you have open body language when interacting with others. Face your conversational partner, pay close attention to your gestures, and don’t cross your arms"

  •  "Get rid of Conversation Fillers ‘Um’ and ‘ah’ does little to improve your speech conversations. Cut them out to be more persuasive, and to feel and appear more confident. One way is to start keeping track of when you say words like “um” or “like.” You could also try simply relaxing and pausing before you speak. Trust me, those silences seem more awkward to you than they do to others."
  • "Be Brief, But Specific For written and verbal communication, practice being brief, yet specific enough, that you provide enough information for the other person to understand what you are trying to say. And if you’re responding to an email, make sure that you read the entire email before crafting your response. With enough practice, you will learn not to ramble, or give away too much information. Having said that, you should take the time to edit your messages! If you send a sloppy, confusing email, the recipient will think you don’t care enough to think through your communication with them."
  • "Put Away Devices Somehow, most people just don’t get this one… But it’s quite rude to have your head buried in your phone while someone’s talking to you. So, put down your devices and look at the person who is speaking to you. Don’t answer calls, check texts or notice vibrations. Let it all pass. Stay focused on what the other person is telling you. Your body language, words and emotional tone will let them know that you’re really taking in what they’re sharing."
